Ok I want to jump into RP but I am not sure how to go about "inserting" myself in one well. excpectialy since it is in a place where I wouldn't normally be. any suggestions? I guess its because I am not sure how to force my way into a plot.....

Haiiii Aliccceeee <3 King of Halloween here to offer his assistance! "How do you do? and what a wonderful little topic to discuss!"[/b] OKAY! So, the way I tend to do things with Jack is that I often use his curiosity and enthusiasm for new places to fuel my entrance into threads ^^ they come from his many ponderings and wanderings really. He often manages to get lost in his thoughts and, I suppose you could say he wanders off the beaten path because of it. Often ending up in completely new places by accident. I've also had him personally trying to reach whatever place he winds up in as part of his curiosity for all things new. It comes with the character I think, and for you Alice is the perfect character for winding up in random places she's never been, she managed to find Wonderland by following the Rabbit, you could use plot drivers like that, She's naturally curious and easily distracted by things both infront of her and out of the corner of her eye, flickers of movement, shadows, animals in waistcoats compelling feelings. You can literally drop her in anywhere with ease I think if you look at it more as 'making an entrance' as opposed to forcing your way in. Looking at the main aspects of her personality can help to, like Jack shes curious and can't seem to let something go unless she's investigated it, you could also use things from the film to help you too, the ships and the trade route for example, why not have her on a voyage, Narnia style xD Remember; six impossible things before breakfast, so why not let one of them be a trip to a new place xD I hope I've helped you hun and, if you want some practice I can easily open up a thread with Jack for you
