I FINALLY SAW DARK KNIGHT!
I take back everything I said about it. Jack Nicholson made a kick ass joker, but Heath Ledger completely made the role his own. Well done.

Long, Yet Important Update.
This is going to be a long update. I do apologize for that. This year is ending, a new one is beginning, and we have a birthday coming up! I hope everyone reads this as it is going to take a long time to write and a lot of coding. However, I do fear some members might not read the updates. Throughout this update I will give directions on some things you must do to let me know that you do read the updates and help me find comfort in knowing that my members are reading what I write. I really appreciate this effort and thank you in advance. I do not want to start the new year up with warnings... but I may need to. This is a role play site based on reading and writing. If you can't read the websites UPDATES and follow simple instructions then role playing here might prove challenging. This test will end in a week. If in a week when the thread is shut and you have not done the directions throughout the update you may get a warning or a harsher punishment. You may wonder why I am going for the punishment. If I want a clean new year I should give karma or something for people replying to this. Well, I might do that too, but I've noticed that members respond more to negative repercussions then positive ones. So members may get karma, but if they don't reply they will get a warning. I know I'm a pain in the ass but it's going to take only minutes and you obviously have the time to be here. Ha ha. The first direction I am going to give you is to open a new window. In this new window bring up B2x. I'd like you to go to the announcement called, Lovett is gone, yet up for grabs! It is an average announcement and I figure if you're here you can find it. I want you to type the words, "I don't want a warning." Then I want you to take the 16th word in the thread you are posting in and type that word. For example, if i wrote, "Mrs. Lovett is going to buy some meat for her pies and then get then spend Sweeny Todd's money," You would type the word "Sweeney Todd." Names, to me, are one word. Don't click post yet! You're not done. Thank you!
Warnings
If you have a warning on your account please inform Ichabod Crane or myself. According to my records there are no members who should have a warning on their account. If you still have a warning, it's by mistake and must be cleared. I would like to start the new year fresh with no outdated warnings. I would like to start the new year with no warnings! To help us with this please post 10 numbers in US phone number format in your post. Example 1-000-000-0000. Leave the 1 and change the remaining numbers to something else. For safety purposes please don't post your number. Due to staff changes and the hectic situation which is life, we have been lacking on some monitoring. B2x staff apologizes for this and intends to fix it. If you have a warning, or see something on the site that needs fixing, let an Admin know!
Winner Voting!
Voting will be closed in a few days. If you have not yet voted, please do so now. I would like you to remember that Member of the Month and Ingenuity are two different things. The Member of the Month is for the user who is most helpful towards members and the site out of character. The Ingenuity Award is for the member that displays the most creativity in role plays and/or comes up with the most creative plot, idea, or graphic for the site. With this news, I'd like you to please go back to your thread and pick why you choose your previous numbers. Tell me if they were random, someone's birthday, or something special.
Due to the popularity rankings and people not really understanding the Ingenuity concept, I'd like to give two people some props in this update. The first member is Catwoman. Catwoman came up with the Halloween party along with hosting the thread. Although, it didn't kick off right away and has been locked until further notice, I think the idea was very creative. This thread will be re-opened soon. It will still be a Halloween party because this is B2x and it's Halloween everyday! Even though Catwoman did not get nominated for this month, or even the October, November, or December ingenuity I think she deserves credit. When this thread gets re-opened I will be sure to add her to that months Ingenuity nominations and voting. The next person I would like to point out is Ichabod Crane. It's very obvious that everyone here knows what Ichabod Crane does and appreciates it. There is so much that Ichabod does behind the scenes, but many people know that too. But this is the Ingenuity Award so she can't be nominated for her making signatures for people based on their ideas no matter how much of her own she puts in them. What I can do is point out the ingenious things she has done for us. If it wasn't for her, our avatars for the month winners would be more boring. The banners would never change. You ask, "Isn't that like making a signature?" No. Why? Because when I ask Ichabod for a banner it's very open. Even when I ask her for graphics. I fully trust her intuition when it comes to graphics. Plus, I know that if anything needed changing she would be more then willing to do so. I don't give her any ideas. I basically say, "Hey, we need a banner for Christmas. Have at it." Ditto for the recent winner signatures. She came up with the past couple of months by herself. She also kept the color bar type of style to it, which I appreciate. She even allowed them to be posted in the graphics section in my shop, without any credit, because she's noble. For that, I thank her. Ichabod also comes up with most of our forum games. There's nothing more creative then the ways she makes us laugh. Also, Tichy started the very popular thread The Witching Hour. I would like you to go back to your post and tell me the two people I just mentioned. I'd like you to give me two more threads or reason they should win the ingenuity. This is my little award to them. I would then like you to mention the people below with NO additional information. Just list their name. This is a small nod to the runner up members I have noticed that have gotten nominated, but didn't win. After you list the two names and another thing that you feel they have done, and you list the following members, I'd like you to name someone who you think should have won ingenuity for something. This can be from any month at any time. Let me know who they are and why they should have won the Ingenuity award. Quality not quantity, but the more people do the more you should consider them. There are many people I'd like to make note of such as Mort Rainey for amazing plots, Ed Wood for Attack of the Moon People, and Sweeney Todd for his role in the Lovett plots.
Mrs. Lovett is up for Grabs!
Speaking about Lovett, the Lovett thread above mentioned will still serve it's purpose and I would appreciate it if you read it. Due to too many reasons to name, Mrs. Lovett will no longer be able to keep her characters. This means that all of her characters are up for grabs. The only character I have kept is Mrs. Lovett. I would like someone to replace her. There are rules and conditions when doing this. Because of said rules and conditions, I would like to ask you to read the thread Mrs. Lovett is Gone, Yet Up For Grabs. Because of this update test, I would like you to tell me the last thing you grabbed. Don't say computer! I want interesting answers to what you grabbed before then. It might be funny. Please check the thread and let me know if you are interested.
Site Changes
Our site is growing, believe it or not, and we are going to expand. We're going to get onto google and hopefully that will bring users. Not only that, but we're going to get a domain name as promised. Thank all of you who helped with sponsors to pay for the domain. Do you think we should make an actual website? Should we make a front page to tell let people know what we are about before they join? Should we have something else? Should we make a real site? What do you think? Please post your responses to if you think it's a good concept and any ideas you may have in your thread.
Thank you!
Thank all of you for reading this long note and complying to my weird demands. I would really like my members to read what I say. You never know when it's going to be important! I would love my members to know me on a 1-on-1 basis too. A while back I posted a thread called, My promise. This thread was posted in the Official Be Burtonesque Threads area in the Be Burtonesque forum area to help my members get to know me a little better. I would like you to tell me which number I hate. Then post weather or not you read and understood the thread you posted in. Then feel free to post your thread. Please do read the Mrs. Lovett is Gone, Yet Up For Grabs thread and reply to me via PM if interested.
