Diary of a Contrary King Jack Skellington
September 3rd
Oh what a wonderful month!
Well today has been particularly fruitful, then again, everyday I spend making the plans for Halloween is fruitful! It feels so wonderful to be myself again. Only 51 days to go until our fabulous Halloween extravaganza and there's still so much to do, its incredible! Once again a whole year has whizzed by as quickly as one of Lock, Shock and Barrels fireworks, fantastic isn't it?
Well I spoke with the Doctor today, he has some brilliant ideas for the cats eye project and, once again, he has offered me his full service to help out with the preparations, such a generous man, I strongly believe that this years Halloween will be our most frightful yet! Or at least our most Horrible! Simply excellent isn't it! I'm practically glowing with energy, in fact! I think I have a brand new idea! I'll leave my musings here for the moment!

October 18th
13 wonderful days to go!
Such a lucky number! I know my musings have been a little delayed recently but I've just been so busy that I've hardly had time to even consider writing my next entry! More wonderful news everybody, my good friend, Mrs Corpse, has devised an excellent menu for the Halloween feast! She's such an insightful woman when it comes to the gormet! I don't believe I could find anyone more appropriate for the job if I tried, except maybe my new friend Mr Willy Wonka, perhaps I should invite him to the Feast? I'm sure he would find Halloween Town a delightful place, especially after tasting his wonderful 'choco-late' on that 'beech' a while back! I'm sure the townspeople would welcome him with open arms! Such a wonderfully eccentric man! Dr Finklestien has finalized his plans for the Cat's eye project now and I can tell you that it looks set to be extraordinary! Even I can't wait to see the finished project and I devised the concept hahahahaha!
Halloween Town is undergoing a grand make-over as I write this. Once again the Townspeople have proven to be as enthusiastic as ever and from what I've heard, the Mayor has been secretly working away on some new Victim awards with the Vampire brothers, isn't that wonderful?! Incredibly creative fellows if you ask me! Did you know the Vampires re-built their mansion when they moved into town! Their taste in architecture is simply exquisite! Hemlock Homestead has a wonderfully Gothic skyline now thanks to those four gentlemen so I don't doubt that the Victim awards will be just as fantastic!
Goodness! Look at the time! I simply must catch Sally before she starts on the Doctors dinner! There is something I want to ask of her!
